Sankranthi 2026
Mrs. AVN College celebrated the Sankranti festival with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was held under the chairmanship of A.V. Adeep Bhanuji Rao, Vice-Chairman of the college, and the guidance of Principal P. Krishna Kumari. The college premises were decorated with traditional Sankranti decorations, including bonfires, traditional dolls, and folk dances. Students dressed up in traditional attire, showcasing Indian culture, and performed various dances to traditional songs. Principal Krishna Kumari emphasized the importance of respecting and preserving Indian culture and traditions. She urged students to learn about and appreciate the values of Sankranti and to avoid Western influences. She added that only when we respect our culture and traditions can our country and state progress. The event was attended by T.V. Murali, Principal of Polytechnic College, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and a large number of students. The celebration was a grand success, and the college premises were filled with the festive spirit of Sankranti.

Mrs AVN college, an awareness and training programme was organised on e-BAAT electronic Banking awareness and Training to students.In this program career opportunities in RBI and fraudulents taking place in digital Banking were emphasized by RBI regional director Sri Nagapraveen garu. The guest is N.Madhusudhan garu cited few examples of various frauds occurred in Visakhapatnam in e- banking transactions.The program was presided by principal M.Simhadri Naidu garu.The program was organised by Dr A Archana H.OD dept of Zoology
