3.2.1 Institution has created an ecosystem for innovations and has initiatives for creation and transfer of knowledge (QlM)

Innovation ecosystem- The principal, Sri M Simhadri Naidu, is a member of the Innovation council. The college started an innovation and incubation center, organizing student meetings for the incubation of new ideas under his leadership. In continuation with the spirit of innovation, the Dept of Zoology organizes a workshop on intellectual property rights (IPR) in collaboration with NIPAM, Govt of India, in the month of April 2022. 

Transfer of knowledge &  Patents filed, published: The institute faculty members published patents. Prof N. Ramakrishna published two patents- 1) AN AUTOMATIC NATURAL LIGHT INTENSITY CONTROL IN ROOM THROUGH SMART WINDOW. It is  in the field of Engineering and technology-filed on 11-12-2020 and published on 5.02.2021. 2) MEDICAL PLUGS TO TRACK HEALTH USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND IOT It is in the field of Engineering and technology. It was filed on 19-03-2021 and published on 14.05.2021.

Institute initiatives: The institution provides support in terms of financial, academic and human resources required and timely administrative decisions to enable faculty to submit project proposals and approach funding agencies for mobilizing resources for research. The institution encourages the  faculty for submitting research projects proposals and securing external funding. The faculties are empowered to take up research activities.  The institution encourages its staff to engage in interdisciplinary and interdepartmental research activities and resource sharing.

 3.4.1 Extension activities are carried out in the neighborhood community, sensitizing students to social issues, for their holistic development, and impact thereof during the last five years.( QlM)

The college is organizing extension activities in the neighborhood community in the following areas.

Health and hygiene

Campaign about Low cost nutrition foods

Ban on usage of single use plastic

Traffic awareness

Helping the needy during CORONA period and after that

Beach sand cleaning

Precautions to be taken in the usage of Domestic LPG gas cylinders

Voters awareness through Electoral Literacy Club

Anti drug campaign

Teaching in Junior colleges

The college is supporting all government campaigns, activities, surveys,National functions by sending the students to such activities.

Extension activities-neighborhood community

Women empowerment awareness, DISHA app, violence against women, COVID-19 awareness programs are arranged through conducting seminars,campaigns in the college in collaboration with Government agencies to sensitize the neighborhood and women. Awareness camps about energy conservation are carried out in the neighborhood.

-holistic development-impact- The college is awarded Human Gaurav Excellence award for the extension service. Swachha award is given by the APCCE
